It is still feeling on the cool and chilly side but at least winds are much lighter now, that "in your face" wind we have had in the past couple of days did get a bit tiresome.

Yet another disgusting day. Sunny skies filled with crap as soon as it hit mid-morning. Wind ridiculously strong, nasty and unpleasant for the time of year. Only just managed to briefly struggle into double figures with a max of 10.8C. Winter temperatures most of the day again. It's 8.8C now and feels much colder due to the wind

Also rained again as it does every day under this detestable set-up whether forecast to or not. 14 consecutive days of it now

I'd be hard pressed to recall a more vile first week of May. Even 2010 and 2012 wasn't this wretched nor 1996.
