On yesterday's forecast the east was supposed to escape the rain with only the odd spot getting over. Wrong! The rain has been on all morning and the wind is getting up now.

After a fairly overcast start to the morning, it is now brightening up with the sun breaking through.

There is still that brisk breeze thus keeping it feeling fresh at the moment, it has also shifted the dampness from yesterday afternoon's showery rain.

Turned out to have been a lovely day where it felt properly warm in the sunshine, it is odd how 16 C felt quite warm despite the obligatory sea breeze this afternoon. I did two lots of gardens and went on a bike ride wearing just a cardie and shorts today.
