Hi, Ian! Moderate rain here - about 10mm so far, winds are very light westerly and the pressure is at 1001mb. Just 8.5C so I guess the family will want the fire lit later A good drink for the garden after a week of dry and breezy conditions

Gales, cold, and heavy drizzle type rain this morning.

3rd shower with hail this evening. This one was quite heavy and all hail so left slushy deposit.

edit: Bang of thunder as it's clearing. This is a repeat of the pattern of the past 7 months that's given us so much hail and thunder!

After what has been a rubbish morning with overcast skies and in-your-face type drizzle in strong south westerly winds, things improved during the course of the afternoon which resulted in a fine end to the day with good early evening sunshine. One of the advantages of the sun setting at something like 8.45 pm at this time of the year.
