Yet more rain to add to this month's total overnight.  Currently cloudy like it has been for most of the week with temperatures likely to be below average.  By the end of this week it looks like November type conditions are likely.  Thankfully I am going to Tenerife in 8 days.

Yet another totally rank Sunday. Almost totally overcast, cool and windy. Only 12.4C

A total of 8.9 hours sun so far across the four Sundays of this hellish month 

Stats for mean maxima for this month for the nearest official station to me. Up to today, maxima is running 2.0c below normal. The 30 year average for the month of May up to yesterday is 15c;  this year, it is just 13c. So looking increasingly likely that it this month will be the 5th consecutive month this year to finish with below average temps in these here parts.

After what has been quite a decent bright day with plenty of sunshine, it came over all dull and gloomy with spitty light rain in the past hour and the cloud base is low enough to shroud them thar hills.
 

All that are making the current temperature of 16 C feel quite cold and clammy.
