0.3c top of Great Dun Fell ( North Pennines) this morning, guess it will be snowing !

6c here and rain much of the night another 5mm since midnight, monthly total not far short of  a May record, just a few mm short

Overcast, outbreaks of rain, some heavy, cool, 9c.

Even though there is a fair bit of cloud about, there are still some brightness and it is staying dry. It looks like the rain belt won't be arriving here until after high noon time - assuming it maintains its integrity by the time it does turn up (might just end up merely being moist with drizzle or we'll end up with a last minute downpour before the lot clear away by early evening time).
   A brisk south westerly wind is making it feel fresh and airy.

Another beautiful spring day but as usual only until 10am. Temperature down to 8.3C during the afternoon with hail, which came down the chimney spattering coal stains all over the carpet

Now it's down to 6.8C and more like three days from winter than summer 

It is awful Richard.  Looks like the rest of the country might get some good weather next week but I expect cloud to roll in off the sea here.  Thankfully I will be abroad so won't see it. 

Good sunny spells, light to moderate WNW breeze, 10.1c, pressure @ 1007mb rising.  Will need to light the fire tho' this evening 

A beautiful clear end to the day at sunset after a blustery and wet afternoon at times. Currently 9.2c. Remarkably cool for this time of the day in late May.
