A vast improvement over the last two intolerably miserable days.

Although the wind is still in a northerly quadrant, it has lessened and lost that nagging quality, and crucially the sun has made an appearance through patchy high cloud, lifting the temperature to a heady 14.5C already.

Now that the sun's come out, it is actually turning out to be quite pleasant. Better still when in a south-facing shelter away from that moderate north east breeze. At 16 C, it's not going to break any temperatures records but it is a vast improvement on yesterday.

Day started fine and sunny but soon degenerated into grey stupidly cold and unpleasant crap. Early max of 13.7C and now just 10.1C.

This is atrocious and totally unacceptable. The second half of June begins tomorrow and just like 2012 we are seeing day temperatures struggling to get out of single figures 

Just awful.  Words can't describe how bad this weather is.  Temperatures stuck around 10-12C all day with cloud and light rain from time to time.  The sort of day you expect in November.
