A fair ol' morning with some sunshine and varied cloud cover. Also feeling quite warm since winds had fallen light.

Some grass areas (including my lawn) are starting to show early signs of drought-related stress as we not have had that much rain so far this Summer (and how our wind kept being a fresh north east didn't help much).

Even though temperatures are only topping out at 16 C and there is a bit of a breeze, the sunshine and clear blue skies are making it feel and look summery anyway.

Atrocious evening. Wet cool and miserable at only 13.8C Yet again it may as well have gotten dark at 4pm.

Even when the sun was out earlier the temperature struggled to only 16.1C. Rest of the week offers more of the same before getting worse for the weekend as usual. Pathetic excuse for a summer yet again

Awful isn't it Richard.  Even just getting up to average temperatures has been difficult this month and it looks set to get worse.
