Unbelievably bad again.  12C and cloudy all day. If yesterday was October then today is November. 

Fascinating watching the battle between cloud and evaporation going on as shown on visible satellite videos in conditions of maximum isolation.

Some sunshine at times, warm but breezy, 17c.

I have to say, the weather has really outdone itself this week. Last week both forecasts and model output were pointing towards a relatively warm week with temperatures in the 18-21C range but today we have just managed to scrape 14C with cloudy skies and yesterday only just reached 16C with similar conditions. Monday-Wednesday was admittedly rather nice but a very poor end to the working week.

Anyway, it's 13C and cloudy, with a persistent breeze to boot.

Even though it did get overcast at around noon time, as expected but the afternoon turned out fairly fair with some hazy bright spells as well as feeling mild at 19 C in a generally light north west wind.

I have to admit that the risk of showers for tomorrow as well as the general rain for Monday may actually come in handy as my lawn is looking thirsty with brown areas appearing. 

Must say. despite a poor few hours the day has been much better than suggested. fairly warm, in the sun
