The heat has cranked up again here in SE Kent with full sunshine again and a moderate SSE'ly breeze. 33.2c / 16.9c

Down 31C from 33C here cloud/haze has ruined it, Can't gruble at breaking 90f though

Temp may start to rise more in the southeast now

Same here. Big clear slot over me now. I expect the temperature to start rising rapidly again.

RAF Wattisham which is only 30 miles, or so, away from lakenheath currently at 28c. Quite a difference in temperature at such a short distance. The onshore breeze must be having a big effect closer to the coast.

Cloudy no sign of sun now 29c

Looks like a nice big clear patch so the July record might still fall. Somewhere around west London probably.

33c here , have to say it doesn't feel any different to yesterday . 

The cloud is certainly having a major effect in the SE. It's 30C here under cloud but I see that Bedford is now over 34C - I guess it's clear north of London.

Been up to 34C - now down to 31C.

Heathrow back up to 33c. Half a dozen places at 34c.

High cloud starting to drift in now, temp reached 29.9 .  Now dropping back.  Still a strong sea breeze, humidity around 50%.  Still feels good though 

Kew 33.6c 2pm up from 31.3c at 1pm.

36c should be on soon hopefully 

It was sunny until around 12.30 here at Luton airport by which time the temperature had reached 33C. It clouded over for about 90 minutes or so and the temperature dropped to 30C. Sun is shining again now.
