35.3c at Wittering near Peterborough according to BBC Weather tweets.
Open all windows soon Jires then close all curtains then fully insulate as usual
Yes so best put down the estimated temps and not what the clouds ruined today temps. My estimate would be 37C today under 22C uppers, was 38.6C here when we got 23C uppers in August 2003.

Sun back out in London. I am writing this from the roof terrace and it is beautifully warm. Not even a slight chill on the breeze, just gorgeous soft heat and not oppressive or humid at all.
Current view over the city:
Max 33.6c. Humidity 43%rh.
Maxed at 32.1C at 13.51, dropped a tad and now at 31.8C.
Heathrow at 35C if it hasn't already been stated.

Starting to fire up a little now James s/e and east look good for more heating once that little bit has burnt off which it is
sorry mobile users I cant get it any smaller at the moment
For comparison - 33.9*C on the balcony here in Menorca and stifling out of the breeze. Met Office app is suddenly forecasting thundery showers but there's not a cloud in the sky - perhaps it got this place mixed up with London! :p

A few clouds over here at the moment, but another clearer slot is coming through.
And the cloud is back. Current view southwest from central London. Temperature dipping already.
Yep and still just over 3hrs of heating up time to go
Over in Northern France it's up to 37/38*c they could get close to 40*c if no cloud stops it
Odiham is currently 31.4c, which is the closest station to me in Hook. Probably a touch warmer than that here.
The" yard" might be the place to be for a late push of temps looking at the radar lower right nice little window that one

The clear sky didn't last long - see latest pic :(

Cos like 35-36C across the capital just isn't warm enough I agree!
