Thought it would do this, could feel the signs yesterday as wind got into east.
It will be interesting to see the effect on the storms moving up from the south - could kill them off near the coast.

Rained for a couple of hours and some heavy bursts, has been about 12mm

The high temp thread has been locked, I was enjoying that thread as it was good for ramblings, ramps and moans LOL so I'll place this here...

Setting up for another glorious day here, forecast temps to be around 24/25  clear and sunny, I'm not worried about the feel like temps in the breeze, I prefer that as you don't sit and sweat as much 

Afternoon beers and lunch at the pub, then home for some chicken tikka on the BBQ.....that's what summers are all about  don't fancy risking the motorways going to the coast.

Last Night the storms got going at about 11.45pm lots of flashes, distant rumbles and torrential rain for a time, shame was on the edge of it but was still impressive and nice to see.

Temp Now: 23.1*c fairly clear, just some high stuff in the distance which is burning off nicely.

Even with the airflow from a SW quadrant the warmth is still hanging on here - 26C at 6pm.

Hazy sunshine through high cloud and just enough breeze to stop it being too cloying.

After a spell of cloud and even a short shower this morning, the rest of the day turned out fine with lots of sunshine. However it has been on the breezy side but that suited me fine as it made it feel all fresh and airy as temperatures topped out at 22 C.
