This is what I despise about the British weather; you can't plan anything with any confidence more than a day or two out (which is impractical).

The sh*tty British weather strikes again. It was sports day for my 2 kids today; elder in the morning, younger the afternoon. Booked the day off and, right up to yesterday, today was looking dry. Then this crapfest block of cloud shows its stinking head.


Thankfully, the morning sports day just got finished before the rain came in. But the afternoon session was cancelled. The back-up day is Thursday. I can't make Thursday cos I have to be in work.

Turned out quite sunny with only broken high cloud the whole day. Spent most of today doing masonry filling in the front garden and now I'm quite sunburnt.
