Went to Dreamland Margate and mid-afternoon the transect was from 22C and sunny intervals in Birchington to 16c under low cloud at Whitfield. Quite a contrast in a 14 mile line.

Got back to Langley and it really soaking wet at 7mm that haven't seen for a very long time while in Epsom stay bone dry. I looked at Meto radar as it weird to see the band of rain stay in same place for some hours before fizzling out. It seem they tried to get down south but HP fought back and killed it off but sadly those peaky frontal bands would leave a lot of dirty cloudy skies and it now need the HP to move away to take the dirt with it and replace with a cleaner HP zone.
Quite very boring day today and once again the organizers would be fuming at the overhyped media forecasts for wash out morning.
