Just gets more and more like 2012 with each day that passes. Yet more slate grey depression for the local holiday Monday. Awful temperatures of 13.3C and some drizzle should be along shortly

Satellite images are a joke. What other country in the world this size would be completely covered with cloud on a mid-summer day?

Local station has:

Air temp 17.7C

Dew point 16.7C

RH 94%

So even after the rain stops it remains damp. Not a good day for drying clothes out.

Incredibly humid. The highest dewpoint this year at 17C, and dry bulb temperature only 18C. So it's amost foggy.

This spring/summer has so far been marked by a real lack of humidity, so this comes as a bit of a shock to the system. I was more uncomfortable in bed last night than during the heatwave 2 weeks ago.

I'm very surprised if Heathrow only had a dewpoint of 6C.

Just found somebody from London area who is hosting personal weather station... Dewpoint history below.
