Usually I only post during the winter months or extreme weather which is more interesting (Cold snaps, easterlies, snow in the winter (if any). etc.

Just thought of opening this thread and my goodness isn't it close and sticking outside now!?

Was 19.3c around 12am here in Exeter and now temperature dipping ever so slightly to 18.5c here. Very humid & close indeed tonight.

It's still overcast with the odd spit of rain but it's sporadic and light. Temperature never got about 21c today, thanks to the cloud cover making it gloomy more or less all day. WHAT a horrible summer's day! - Sadly it will go down hill but we can't complain!

Meanwhile it's going to be yet another uncomfortable night for sleeping, with windows open, fan on etc!

While it is being generally cloudy, there is a tinge of brightness in it all so I'm not being compelled to turn the lights on this morning.

18 C under calm wind thus feeling mild and muggy for it.

After spending most of the morning between 21C-22C under thick cloud the sun came out around 2pm, since then the temps have risen nicely to circa 24C.

A breeze has now also begun to blow, but despite that it's still pleasantly humid.

The sun seem to be making an effort to show up at this end after all. It's brightened up considerably and thus making the current temp of 20.7 C and 74% humidity feel warm to the touch.

Yet another atrocity of a summer rolls on with another vile, write-off 0/10 day. Drizzle, overcast all day and only 12.7C.

Disgusting and depressing beyond belief. Satellite defies explanation with everywhere in Scotland managing a clearance except the North East stuck under a stagnant area of cloud. God only knows where it is coming from when it is clear in all directions
