Only 8.4mm so far this month, only 16.4mm last month, a very dry 6 weeks.
Now up to a modest 26.1mm here: Rain has fallen at some point on 9 out of the last 13 days but the highest amount to fall in 24hrs was 8.1mm on the 4th. The surface is a lush green as a result of the frequency of the rainfall but getting dry a couple of inches below the surface on this hill of sand!
More drizzle to add on. Being fine it is not much. 0.6mm Yesterday. Today the same amount fallen this morning ..Another 0.6mm.
Total for the month now stands at 22.1mm.

July is already wetter than every month this year except May, with 16 days to go. But at least it's been warm, and most of it was from heavy, thundery downpours earlier this month.
