It brightened up considerably with even some actual sunshine at around noon time, but it's clouded right over since then. Feeling very muggy and airless, though, even though it's "only" 21 C with 77% humidity but winds are virtually calm.

Looking at some of the clouds and I'm beginning to think a downpour could be possible.

Sunny for the first time in 3 days, after yet another horrendously wet day, and the temperature is 13.3C. Absolutely unreal for mid-July

A warm and humid day. Morning cloud and patchy drizzle gave way to bright sunny spells this afternoon at times.

Max was 22.6c.

There is a lovely warm orangery glow to things this evening. The wind is calm, all the windows and doors are open and it feels wonderfully summery. There is also some sea fog encroaching from the coast enveloping the hills. Very atmospheric.

A little cooler now. Currently 17.5c, dewpoint 15.9c.
