Yet another execrable day. Another 20mm of rain causing more flooding and now just 1.6mm away from equalling my record high rain total for a summer month of 115.6mm last August. Seems that 2007-12 was just a taster of even more revolting filth to come


Temp has moved to 16.1C after being stuck on 12C all day but yet again we can't get a proper clearance as no sooner does the sun pop out than the clouds move in to cover it up. Rotten depressing and horrific in the extreme

A fair end to the day with some sunshine and partial medium-height cloud. A brisk south west breeze is keeping it fresh and airy at 20.3 C.


Much more preferable than the soupy muggy dampness of this time yesterday.
