Muggy and drizzly outside - will be a close and sticky night ahead !!

It's +19c at 12:30am here in Exeter. It was similar in Braunton but at least there was the sea breeze too!

This is off topic but anyway.....

PS - Had an adventurous trip to Riga Latvia few weeks ago on Sunday 26th July! - KLM cancelled my flight from Schiphol AMS to Riga due to bad weather so I couldn't board my KLM flight. So KLM put me on an Air Baltic flight from Gatwick so waited 1 hour for taxi to pick me up from Bristol and spent 3 hours in taxi - almost gridlock on M25 (heavy rain 12c and windy). Got to Gatwick south terminal (panicking I'd miss my flight) then was told there were no seats available so they put me on standby and then the flight was delayed a further two hours - So I boarded flight 2 hours later (bare in mind this was a different flight time, airport and airline).

Arrived later so missed my pre-booked transfer to the Hotel from RIX airport, but worst of all my Luggage never boarded my flight (Which I checked in/dropped off) - So I arrived not only flustered, tired, distressed and angry but I had no luggage either! - I collected it two days after - One zipper compartment was open and items were missing and a mug I bought for a friend was damaged too! I only had luggage for a day before having to pack it again because wasn't there long! I had euros stolen from my carry on luggage too - I am convinced it was the maid! I was only there for 4 days and it was ruined.

Wrote to KLM and Air Baltic - both blame each other!

I got virtually nothing in compensation. -DON'T TRAVEL AIR BALTIC, I complained about Ryanair being bad but now I praise them and look up to them. - At least Ryanair leave on time and don't lose your luggage.

Apart from that Riga has lovely ancient architecture renowned for it's rich cultural heritage too! Jurmala was nice too. Beautiful city except it rained most days and at night it was packed full of drunken rowdy British tourists on parties at the old town. - I was longing to get away from them.  

The last day it was 24c and sunny! - just typical really!
