The line marking the boundary between this ex-tropical air and the cooler Atlantic stuff is around 25 miles to my west - there are some lively showers showing on the radar. For the time being though it remains relatively sticky: down to 21.7C and 15.7 dewpoint. It's now mostly cloudy too.
Dullest August day I have ever known - even worse than some of those in August 2008.
