It's grim out there with fine soaking rain driven by a stronger NNW wind. 8.8C and has been 3.4mm since midnight.
River is up quite a bit suggesting far more has fallen higher up.

Couldn't possibly get  worse start to September than this. 3.8 hours of sun in 4 days, an almost constant drizzle and a high of 15.3C.

Atrocious and this is running 1993 close for the worst extended summer of my lifetime. Nothing but relentless unsettled crap since late April 

Not as bad here. Cloudy and cool morning but brighter this afternoon with the sun appearing. Light winds.
