10.3C, another chilly overcast and misty day so far.
Yesterday stayed like this all day but some signs of brightening up this morning already.
It does feel more like October the last few days.

After what has been a fairly cloudy start to the day, the clear skies associated with continental-type air over the Low Countries have finally made its way to here and is now turning sunny. I should imagine it'll get to feel properly warm should the sun stay out for the rest of today.

PS: Hi Rob K, I guess it's a question of this clear sky slowly working it's way north and west wards during the course of the day.

Yet another repugnant day from this unmitigated disaster of a month so disgusting it makes May and the summer seem brilliant by comparison

7th complete write-off day out of 9. Grey featureless stratus all day long with drizzle and dire temperatures. Max of 12.6C.

The most ghastly and depressing start to September I can recall. Not one evening that you can spend outside. Even 1995 was better. At least what we got then was weather
