Another crackin' start to the day with the sun dancing around in clear skies. I guess it's all about making the most of today before our weather defaults back to the usual gunk. At least I have taken advantage of the past couple or so days by doing some outdoors patching up jobs (filling in masonry around a couple of windows and then waiting for them to dry before painting to make them look smart, it took me a little bit longer than I thought but glad that the weather held on for it) and giving the garden the once over.

Vile write-off day number 9 from this rank month which is the most dismal and depressing since July 2012 and that's saying something given the never ending stream of dross over the past few years

Managed to clear to blue skies for an hour in mid-morning before more filthy featureless drizzly crap spread in from the sea so the forecast of a brighter day was totally wrong as usual. Cold and windy too. 13.3C now which is typical of the day apart from during the sunny slot when it reached 16.1C.

The only thing that matches this weather for sheer awfulness is the quality of the BBC forecasts. A complete and utter joke.
