Clouding over, but got to see a decent coloured sunrise. It did feel quite nippy at 11.3 C when I was down at the harbour with the camera at 6.30 am, especially since I was still in shorts.

Here's the result of this early morning's walkabout (I went to bed early last night due to how rubbish the telly was so I got out of bed quite easily this morning).

Part cloudy with light SW wind, 9C now and min was 6.7C
6.8mm yesterday, half of it was from heavy showers which were thundery mid-afternoon.

After clocking up a disgusting 11.6mm of rain yesterday afternoon skies cleared at sunset only for the depressing grey muck to return by sunrise

So yet another crap, cloudy day so far. Don't really need any stats to know that this month will be ranking amongst the very worst but I am struggling to find any September that had such an abysmally low sun total by this stage of the month. 31.6 hours up to yesterday and over two thirds of that recorded on just 2 days

Straight out of a geography text book this morning. Nice and sunny and with a heavy build up of altostratus to the south west.

The sky now covered by this layer of altostratus and the sun barely visible now.

No prizes for guessing what comes next. :-)

Breezy with lots of cloud and occasional bright or sunny spells. Pretty average temperatures, but pleasant enough.

Its been a warm and very calm day here. Lots of cloud around but with blue sky too. Definately shorts weather. Its been dry so far but the rain according to the radar is only minutes away. Its quite heavy over northern France but has lost much of its intensity by the time it reaches our shores, at least the part that is just about to cross the SW has.
