This was meant to be a glorious local holiday weekend under high pressure but it has been utter rubbish. Cloudy all day on Saturday, sunny yesterday but with lots of high cloud and lots of cloud again today with only some sunshine. No sign of the clear blue skies a 1035mb high should be bringing

An example of what I would term the "21st Century effect" whereby synoptics that used to produce good weather now give cloud filled dross. It is really dire at the moment with strong winds and only 12.4C. It does not feel anything like there is pressure over 1030mb.

Still waiting for the first cold night of autumn as well with last night's low of 6.2C equalling the lowest so far. That's a full 0.5C higher than the ridiculously mild min that September 2006 produced

Slightly warmer today with a max of 15.7C
It wasn't as cold to start with at 6.2C rather than 1.1C the day before - mainly due to being a bit foggy.
Not dropping away so quickly this evening either, 12.7C currently.

Has been another decent "Spring"-like day with plenty of sunshine and it felt positively warm when sheltered from that brisk easterly breeze. I gave the lawn another cut as it's still growing like the clappers but I think the recent rains may have had a hand in it.

Temperatures peaked at 18 C this afternoon, the minimum was 14 C at 6 am, so not that cold yet (still in shorts and T shirt).
