4.9C with fog approaching.. seriously, what is it with this place and fog? Every night for the past week has been foggy while most of the country hasn't seen any at all. It rolls in at the same time - around 3am - and doesn't bloody clear until 1pm.

Turning out to be another fine and sunny day. Also we seem to have lost that "easterly wind" so it is feeling warm to the touch for it at 16 C.

Clear skies, calm/occasional very light variable breeze, 16 C @ 66% RH, pressure @ 1023mb falling

5pm on Friday and bang on cue the North Sea crap arrives after a lovely day. VILE 

Down to 5C already which is well below last night at any time.
Since the air seems drier the fog might stay away, in which case an air frost will be on the cards.
