It touched 2.9C just before midnight, which would be yesterday's minimum - then promptly fogged out.
It's attempting to clear now, and is hovering about 3.8C from a 'high' of 7.8C in the fog at 4am

A fine and sunny start to the day. I've finally got to witness to early morning radiation fog for the first time this season.


Currently 10.1c after an overnight low of 8.3c.

No lovely fog or autumnal mists here this morning, just grey chillyness! The last week has been incredible in the mornings, beautiful golden sun shining through silver shimmering mist and fog, with a lovely autumnal chill in the air. Maybe one last go tomorrow morning 😀

It remained mostly fog-free here at the coastal edge so I woke up to a bright start to the morning, but high cloud associated with a decaying weather front is moving in from France as I type this.

Feels quite cool and clammy at 13 C despite now having lost this easterly breeze.

Utter rubbish compared to the week just past. Grey all morning and while the sun came out in the afternoon it was shining through white cloud and limp insipid blue not the brilliant clear blue there was during the week Typical early October max of 13.9C.
