In Nottingham today. After bright warm morning turned dark this afternoon with really heavy rain and a few rumbles of thunder. Especially as the rain moved to the north of us.
Now we have chaotic skies with a low sun shining on big mature Cunimbs with virga and rainbows....lovely!

Utterly revolting day and sadly typical of the filth October has degenerated into over the past 15 years. While wet days have always been a feature of this month, prior to 2001 they sure as hell did not come accompanied by appalling murk and air quality, stupidly mild nights and static diurnal ranges as now seems to be the case every single year.
