G3 storm underway. KP index 6. Aurora likely N England and points North.

A friend of mine has reported seeing the aurora in Stirling recently. Sadly it is still cloudy here but I will be keeping my eyes open for a while yet. Definitely worth a look for northern parts especially where the skies are clear!

It really was a good display although my local conditions were not favourable. Images coming into my FB page suggest it was one of the best seen for a long time, especially in Scotland
