Yet another horrendous weekend. Grey and overcast, 10.1C, with no sun for the second Sunday in a row.

Took a trip to Blair Atholl yesterday to enjoy a few hours sun before the cloud started to invade in the mid-afternoon. Was dire all day here - the fourth cloudy Saturday in a row

This month has had more sun already than the previous two October's yet the weekends have been worse than in both. Dull and depressing and this is the only time to get out in the sun at this time of year

Well another nice fine morning in Edinburgh though I feel the dry scottish sunny October weather may only have a couple of days left. I'm heading south to Yorkshire on the train and hit the grey damp English weather around Newcastle

Getting a bit Groundhog Day lately with mostly cloudy skies and general dampness (2.7 mm of rain had fallen since my station reset at 12 am last night). However, I did get to see the occasional brightness so far today.

12.8 C with 83% humidity.
