Turned out to be another dull and drab day with a further 2.4 mm's worth of drizzle since my station reset at 11 pm last night. Actually, I told a lie the sun did try to break through at one time but not for too long.

If it is mid-January right now, this would probably be the "cold snap"'s last hurrah with a final bout of snow flurries before the Atlantic maritime air push back in.

Still, as things stand, at least it's not been THAT awful with heavy rain and howling southerly gales . . . yet.

Just a little N.N.East breeze before it changes to North westerlies in just over an hour or so. Cloudy and 10.5c. At the moment.
