Tv weather clips - severe wintersce to see

Does anyone have any old video clips of classic winters spells ?

looked on YouTube - all that exists is Ian Mccaskill on Bbc2 from Jan 1987 and on Bbc1 from Feb 1991

nothing from winter 1981-1982 or 1978-79

it would be nice to see who the forecasters were, what the weather maps looked like on the Bbc, and the weather before and during these memorable spells of weather

Another gem uploaded on YouTube. Six o'clock news from 18th January 1985. Talks about cold and the snow that failed to hit the SE. Starts at 6.20. Watch the very end, with the Met Office giving the Eric Morecambe school of excuses playing the right notes but not in the right order.
