5th crap Saturday in a row and the worst of the lot. A horrible, stinking awful day. 9.8mm of rain already and 6.6C.

This has to be about the worst run of weekend weather I can remember. 5 hours sun a day during the week this month and only 2 hours at the weekend. A dire and depressing month

Hang on..Hasn't Scotland recently enjoyed a fine spell of extended High Pressure weather followed this week with a return of the westerlies and local Fohn effects of 20c recently. Dire and depressing doesn't sum that up to me ? 

Overcast and dry with a brisk southerly breeze. Even though it is quite mild at 14.4 C, I have got the heating on but it's making it easy to warm the house up for my elderly mother (and myself too).
