Great artcile from Mathew Syed in the Times today about the Criminal who owns Chelsea

The following is a conversation between an unnamed footballer running the Secret Footballer website and an Arsenal scout.

Very damning if even remotely true.

http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/articles/tsf-diary/29031/setting-the-agenda-massimo-cellino-son-heung-min-tim-sherwood-phil-jagielka/#slide-2

"I pointed out that Tottenham Hotspur’s summer recruit, Son Heung-min, is one of the most impressive players I’ve seen at White Hart Lane since Gareth Bale.

Immediately, the scout took his phone out of his pocket and showed me a scouting report from last season. This is how it read …

* Scares the life out of defences. Feet are scarily quick, can turn in any direction.

* Keeps his shape, good discipline, counters quickly, carries the ball a long way up the pitch, aware of team-mates in better positions.

* Scores goals from great positions in the box that others don’t take up (Ljungberg). Hard to pick up and track.

* Fit, doesn’t stop working.

* Different to anything that we have in the building.

* CAN PLAY FOR US ALL DAY LONG!!

That was one of several reports he showed me that got better and better."

Apparently, Arsenal were set to sign Son, but Wenger dithered.

(I'm being rhetorical; he'd applaud the criticism of Yeltsin, but be scathing about the criticism of St Pootin and thinly-veiled accusations of Pootin's own corruption & scumbaggery)

Agreed that was a good article that explains some of the smoke and mirrors at Chelsea.

Re Chelsea, I must admit that I've never been a fan of Mourinho. Despite his undisputed skills and record as a manager, he has always come across to me as something of a conceited individual who has too high an opinion of himself. The way he treated the club's doctor at the start of the season was bang out of order, IMO.

In some ways, I think it'll be payback for Mourinho for that incident if Chelsea do have a rotten season..

His second stint at Chavski is just daft. He's a parody of himself and he's acting like a spoilt baby half the time.

Nothing remotely snobbish or uppish and not full of his own ego, unlike "Maureen".

I'd like to see Liverpool get 3 points today , probably not alone in that

OK, Mourinho's gone now. Chelsea have given up.

Conceding three goals to a mediocre team without a recognised striker for much of the game is beyond the pale.

The team is shot, they're now looking at teams below them, but not the usual suspects such as Sh.iteh and Asenal. More like Villa and Blunderland.
