To be honest we are hopelessly out of our depth and it will be a miracle if we stay up! Added to that is the horrific catalogue of injuries to key players its getting hard to see where we can can get a win from.

I watched the game and very entertaining it was too. Bournemouth certainly didn't deserve to lose 5-1, but saying that, they gave Spurs too much space. The loss of Wilson (and Mings, maybe) could prove immense.

The only comfort Bournemouth fans can draw is that Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa and Norwich are all probably worse than them.

Overall, a good set of results today - the Dippers, Sh.itheh and Manure all ending up being frustrated.

Dippers-Southampton was probably a fair result although I wouldn't have disagreed too much if the Saints had come away with three points. I was impressed by them.

He's probably thinking, "Bugger, this is going to be much harder than I thought"

Great result for Stoke who played Extra Time with 10 men

Just what the frig was Wenger thinking?? He - along with Ferguson - was one of the originators of the idea of playing a shadow squad in the League Cup, give the fringe players & some youngsters game time in a less important game. These players are certainly motivated, and it allows you to rest the first choice team.

Worst of all worlds tonight for your lot - the first choice players don't get a well-needed R&R, you lose two forwards to injury, and after all that you lose & go out of the cup anyway.

Utter madness - and I just hope Klopp doesn't make the same mistake tomorrow.
