Chinks of brightness is trying to break through the cloudy skies. It is still windy but is doing an excellent job in shifting the dampness from yesterday's rain.

Currently 15.8 C, it didn't get any lower than 14.1 C last night. I had my bedroom window ajar last night to let the fresh air circulate indoors as I felt all warm and sticky . . . that last bit did come out wrong.

Yet another revolting write-off Sunday. It's ghastly with a steady drizzle amounting to 7.6mm so far. Temp 7.8C.

The 4th dismal grey sunless Sunday out of 6 with the only exceptions being the 2 weeks I was out of the country. Still only had one sunny Saturday all of this detestable season. Simply the worst run of weekend weather I can recall for a long time
