After what has been a rather rubbish start to the morning with overcast skies, rain and strong south west wind, the rain has just eased off and can see how the cloud has veered around to as a north west. It is still overcast but light levels are slowly improving.

11.5 C but still feels cool and fresh and 7.8 mm of rain had fallen since my station reset at 11 pm last night.

A wet day here; the earlier light rain/drizzle has given way to moderate rain - the Cheshire Gap effect quite noticeable! I regard the WNW direction as the keyhole for wet weather here! 8.2 C @ 90% RH, pressure @ 1009mb falling slowly.

Been dry all day but at the moment we have the slightest drizzle. I've just checked the radar and there's not much rain around down here. Also it feels colder than it actually is.
