earlier the clouds were billowy and dull with the look of old snow, the sort you see in kerbsides when the traffic has spoiled it.

A cold,wet,miserable day here. Rain finally stopped about 3.30-3.45pm after 13.4mm. Flooded roads all round Cheadle hulme because Stockport Council can`t be bothered to keep the grids clear.
