Not too bad a day today. Quite a lot of cloud but not feeling overly cold for late November. Pockets of light rain and drizzle at times with a keen breeze.

Oh my word, just had the fright of my life ! Eating tea, and all of a sudden a tremendous roar of water , and sounded like a pipe had burst ! We all ran around the house looking for water flooding ! Only to realise it was outsode 😦 This front hit us like a steam train ! Amazing wind and torrential rain, crazy 

You were on the nail there Four, at around 17:45 we had a few minutes of very nasty winds and heavy rain, moments before that it was quite calm so came as somewhat of a surprise.

Rain turned sleety the past hour and it has been as low as 2.6C
Stopped now and still quite windy. +3C

The blustery rain associated with that "pre squall line" has just arrived here, thus rounding off what has been a dull and damp day.

We had rain, heavy at times from mid-afternoon till 8pm, a total of 8.5mm.

Temperature dropped from 10.8C this morning to 3.5C now.
