Still dry here but the wind has increased since this morning. I`m a bit worried about two trees at the front, close to the house. I don`t have a wind gauge but MetOffice last 24 hours for this area show winds gusting to 45mph now.

2nd day of relentless rain and gales.....dark and stormy. Several roads flooded and with the Forth Bridge closed it's pre-Christmas he'll up here! Working on the Royal Yacht today and it's busy despite heavy horizontal rain and gusts strong enough to bowl you over!!

It's been dark and stormy all day, with constant rain and no let up in the wind. We're located too far to the east to get the wettest weather, but there must have been a couple of inches of rain at least. Footpaths are more like rivers and rivers are torrents.

After a 58mph gust about 7am, wind seemed to ease somewhat through the middle of the day.
More gusty this evening again, which is giving things a serious shake. 63mph a few minutes ago.
No rain at all here, steady on 10.8C and wind is locked to SW constantly
