Hailstones on the Royal Yacht Britannia Deck yesterday. In the colder air we have had hail and sleet showers overnight too. The Pentlands and Ochils are looking white this morning. A windy raw day to come with more wintry showers.

Nearly slipped over on some frozen rain/sleet outside my house. Car had a touch of snow on it too. (150m asl south edinburgh)

Then you see places like brighton are forecast not to go below 10c for the next week , really is a country of two halves weather-wise at the moment

Dull and is damp from overnight rain. At least the wind is lighter for now, made a change not to get wind blasted when I got the papers this morning.
