I agree with most of that. But even in a season such as this Liverpool must have dropped too many points? They would need to go on some run from here

I still believe Liverpool could be challenging for a champs league spot. I do feel it may well come down to Chelsea or Man U once again. I feel Man U may well kick on in the weeks ahead.

Big Sam must be desperately disappointed , it's unlike any of his sides to fold , in saying that what a great performance from Man U

Great result for the Gunners today !!

Well they needed a result after after last week's mugging.

Mind you, I'm worried about Sunday's game against Liverpool. Having already lost to the likes of Wigan and West Ham this season, Spurs seem to find themselves unable to raise their game against far lesser teams.

Chelsea drop 2 pts with a 1-1 draw away at Newcastle

Saw the Spurs vs car thieves game on Sunday. Having read a report in the Liverpool Echo (describing Liverpool's loss a a 'cruel result') I was wondering whether we were watching the same game. There was nothing 'cruel' about the outcome at all. Liverpool played better than I expected (I also assumed Spurs would have a CL hangover) but still fell short. A fair result for me would have been something like 4-2. And that doesn't include the Defoe penalty that should never have been awarded in the first place.

It's only a couple of months ago that I said if Man U were there or thereabouts at the end of the year, the addition of an attacking midfielder during the January transfer window might be good enough. When posting that I didn't for one minute expect to see the topsy turvy form from the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, or the lack of ascendancy of Liverpool.

No question Man U's form has been far from galvanising so far, but they have always been a very much a second half of the season team and have possibly had the best ever start to the season since the start of the Premiership. They have three crucial matches in the course of 13 days in mid-December...........home to Arsenal, away to Chelsea and home to Sunderland. 6 points or more from these fixtures will see them in a position they are not accustomed to.

It could of course all go pear shaped, with a spate of injuries to key players, and I'll be left eating my words, but right now they look like a team easily capable of taking the title again this season

SAF must be laughing his head off, im many games this year they have been a bag of s***e, yet they are still unbeaten and now top of the league, they are in a very strong position IMO

Abysmal defending by Man U and Johnny Evans in particular tonight. Make shift Man U v Make shift West Ham, the Londoners outclassing Man U all over the pitch and not one of the Man U team have performed at an acceptable level. I have never seen such an inept performance in what has to be said shows how poor this Man U squad is beyond the XI.

This wont effect the vote, I think most of us know that has already been decided in the back rooms of FIFA.

But I agree, unfortunately this type of thing seems to be happening again in football more, the clubs, FA and the police really need to get a grip with it before it becomes like the late 70's early 80's.
