Premiership Football Club seeking top flight incompetent candidate for future failure/sacking.

Position recently vacant due to prior candidate's over-achievement and showing too much competence/leadership.

Armchair pundits, alcoholics, and bi-polar meglamaniacal non-English speakers, with no prior footballing experience especially encouraged to apply. Southern accent preferred.

Short term contracts most likely.

Please send CV and 500 word statement how you plan to dismantle the team, alienate yourself from your staff and make a general mockery of all things Newcastle.

I thought it was a decent, open game. I've seen more skillful games, yes. But then, I've seen far less skillful games.

Houllier is a poor manager. His next move will likely be to want a shedload of money to buy crap players for overblown transfer fees.

I'm struggling to get something clear in my head.

Newcastle sack a manager who, since he took over, has masterminded an instant return to the Premier League as Chamionship champions, whilst overseeing a clear-out of many players with Premier League experience (and salaries to match) and rebuilt with minimal resources, bringing through some young players who're now coveted by top clubs. He's then guided the club to mid-table in their first season in the Premier League, the highlight being a drubbing of their hated rivals.

They then appoint Alan Pardew who, at Premier League level, has been a serial failure.

Ashley is either certifiable or has decided to inflict his revenge on Newcastle fans who turned on him, in the most cruel of ways.

You're not the only one. But then as time goes on and I get older, Nothing surprises me anymore in football. I've never understood how the managers that always fail, keep getting offered jobs at other clubs

I simply can't understand the Pardew appointment, Ashley knows full well that he will not be 'big enough' for the locals. As a businessman he must know that this appointment put's the team in serious threat of relegation.

I can't believe they sacked CH, and to appoint AP is mad, relegation beckons.................especially if he cant get the players on side ASAP

Whenever a PL manager is sacked the favorites to replace said manager are invariably Pardew and Curbishley. Is Curbishley actually gainfully employed at the moment. He invariably isn't. P.S. I'm assuming Crashley's cronies had a few side bets on Pardew's appointment. All taken out before Hughton was sacked of course.
