Sat on the beach in el medano in Tenerife myself and my friend are discussing how significant wind funnelling between the islands of Tenerife and gran canaria is and what effect would it have on the speed of the wind given that the islands are over 40 miles apart.Is there some sort of mathematic formula for calculating funnelling between two land masses where the height and distance   is known ?
