Clear skies overhead, but the rising sun is still being hidden by the retreating cloud bank.

9.6 C and still a bit on the breezy side but that should dry things up after 1.2 mm of drizzle/rain fell last night (you can tell it's December when that little rain is enough to make it all properly wet).

Quite calm out there.

Pure blue fruit of a day, silvery sunshine and the wind not yet delivering the forecast punch, so at 11C it feels pleasant enough,clearing in the garden and watching the gnats soft-skimming over the sheltered pond.

LOL, 8C "quite chilly" in late December, interesting times!

A crystal clear morning today which felt as if it should have been frosty, but no, it didn't get below 7C! 

Light broken cloud. Plenty of blue sky with sunshine. contrails showing. But not spring yet... Only just mild 10.0c.
