 Wispy sunshine through the cloud but nice to see for a few minutes .. Mild at 13.6c.

The low December sun is shining through a gap in the general cloud cover. Winds are also being lighter than forecast and no rain had fallen today, thus making the current temperature of 13.8 C feel very pleasantly mild in a dry and airy way. I'm fighting the temptation to give the front lawn a cheeky cut as it's looking thick and lush.

All this is being a totally different world to Lancashire. Goes to show how the UK can be a seemingly huge place when it comes to our climate.
