A very happy new year to all weather observers

A fine start to the day with the frost still hanging around, somewhat more seasonal in nature. However, it looks like reverting to type later on today, and for the next few days if my own forecast is anything to go by on.

It got down to as low as 2.6 C at 6.45 am, and then for some reason the weather station decided to stop sending data, even though the batteries has been recently changed. Cheap Maplin junk.
