Although a coloured sunrise was observed upon awakening at 8 am, it has been overcast since then and it's just started spitting. But, what I find more depressing more than anything is this strong southerly wind making the current 9.6 C feel colder than it needs to be. One of those days where I have all vents, windows and doors closed and the heating on full blast but I can still feel a draught coming from somewhere, I guess the house does need airing out anyway.
If I have snowfalls as often as I have this in-your-face southerly wind in the winter, I'd be up to waist high in snow cover by now.
