The rain has stopped and the sky is messy, largely blue-grey with a few patches of orange and white. Looks like a small child's first attempt at a watercolour painting. Pressure drop to 983mb seems to be slowing.

That's a good way of putting it, but that is fitting for this end as well. A clunky mix of patchy blue sky but is raining overhead from Channel showers.

9.0 mm of rain has fallen since my station reset at 11 pm last night, but at least the wind has died down (or I'm more sheltered from the south west breeze), however what is noticeable is the chill in the air at 7.3 C - feeling much more seasonal now.
