Turning colder already, been down to 1.5C during a burst of sleety rain which has given the high moors a covering.
The rain has stopped and the sky is messy, largely blue-grey with a few patches of orange and white. Looks like a small child's first attempt at a watercolour painting. Pressure drop to 983mb seems to be slowing.
2.0c here with sleety showers. Had a slushy covering about 7.30am when the temperature was lower. Can see snow cover on the hills above about 250m.

Went out for a bike ride this morning and just in the last hour or so there's a much colder crisper feel to the air, you can smell the Arctic influence already and it feels like the dew point has dropped dramatically.

That would be nice; not quite the same here; up in the sunshine 2C, down in the showers 2C, feels typically British it's true- a bit like a cold April day. Hopeful for what's to come, though.
