Another wet and windy morning with that strong southerly wind making another appearance. Again. The conifer tree in my front garden is slowly being sculpted by that wind.

Hallelujah!!! First sunshine this year and in fact the first for 16 days!!
After a couple of cold sleety days here at 2 C the coming week sees a slight warming with maxes predicted to be 4-6 C.
The Pentlands snow shining white this morning...feel like we've just emerged from a very dark period up here!!

cold here today, was 3*c at midday. Now 5*c.

Has just started to pour down - and was pleasantly surprised to see sleet. Thats very odd considering where we live..... must have been a heavy downpour
